Last night we kicked off the week at the Canvas Works in Shoreditch for the launch of the Nike Women’s 10K Series and to get the low-down to share with our ‘crew’ (aka you lot). So here it is.
On 21 June thousands of women will take to the streets of London – as well as 19 other cities around the world – for a 10k route around London’s Victoria Park filled with music, lights, tunnels and the promise of ‘the unexpected’. Post race bling is being exclusively designed by jewellery designer Alex Munroe and there is the promise of a festival style after party – if We Own The Night is anything to go by then we’ll be lingering about the race village with a drink in hand until the bitter end.
If it’s your first race don’t fret. Nike will be guiding runners through their training with a personalised training programme that ‘combines the digital and the physical’, including Nike+ Runs Clubs and Nike Training Club classes.
We’re all signed up and raring to go so come join our crew. At the very least come join us for a post race bevy!
