So we’ve been beavering away on a secret project with London Sport, the County Sport Partnership for London, for a few months now. And it’s finally live, so we can tell you all about it! We think you’re going to LOVE IT!
Ta da dahhhhhh, it’s called the Summer of Sweat a new initiative offering six weeks of pop-up fitness events and heavily discounted fitness sessions (up to 75% off) to the women of London. Which means you! (Well unless you’re a bloke or can’t get to London, in which case soz.)
Around 60% of participants in previous London Sport projects have been male and just 30.6% of women in our fair city exercise at least once a week (compared to more than 40% of men). Well pfft to that, Summer of Sweat is all about celebrating women’s fitness and getting even more women working out. Plus we’ve secured some funding from Sportivate to ensure we can offer all sessions at awesomely affordable prices.
From yoga on stand up paddleboards to training in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, dancing on rooftops, parkour, trampolining and six-week running bootcamps, we’re working with some of the most exciting fitness providers in the capital to ensure our events are social, sweaty and most of all fun! See below for listings.
Pop-up events are live now and start at just £7.50, while discount fitness packages with select providers will be going live on 25 August and start at just £15.
So come and get your sweat on!
