Pride Workouts with Lululemon
5 and 6 July
Pride month is coming to an end with the big old Pride in London parade taking place on 6 July, celebrating 50 years since the birth of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. It’s set to be the biggest London parade in history so get yourself down there and show your support.
Luluemon are joining in the celebrations with some free workouts. On 5 July in King’s Road there’s an outdoor dance workout with Frame followed by food, drink and glitter. Next day, 6 July, in Marylebone you can take part in a barre-inspired dance class followed by a breakfast tipple and yet more glitter, so you’re looking fabulous ready to hit the parade.

Why do one leisurely fitness activity on a Saturday morning when you can obliterate yourself with three? Kickboxing inspired boutique studio Flykick and hot yoga gurus Hotpod Yoga have combined to offer a really tough but fun sounding workout – yes, we did say fun.
You start with a 54-minute HIIT class complete with kickboxing bag rounds. Then you take a social paced 5k run through Hyde Park, led by Laura Murray, over to HotPod Belgravia for a 45-minute yoga class. You get a goody bag after and it contains some edible treats, you’re going to need them. Also, anyone else wondering why that HIIT class is precisely 54 minutes?!

The Richmond Summer Riverside 10k Run
20 July, 09:30, £22
It’s amazing how the words ‘summer’ and ‘riverside’ can make you forget how much you hate the uncomfortable pace and taste of blood the 10k distance brings. Might go. It’s bound to be lovely and sun dappled. Will probably take a picnic.

The mindful triathlon that we’ve never actually got around to going to is back and taking over Battersea park for the full day. Take part in a 5k run, 90-minute yoga class soundtracked by a dj and top it all off with 30 minutes of meditation.
After the ‘tri’ here are loads of other activities to take part in including aerial yoga, cooking demonstrations, workshops and hula hooping, there’s even a secret sunrise dance.
