The timetable is only just kicking off and loads more classes will be added but starting this week you’ll find 50-minute Paola’s BodyBarre classes every Monday and Tuesday and one-hour Total Body classes with instructor Adrienne Herbert every Wednesday. Looking to get a good long training run in and practice your race day strategy before a spring marathon? The Surrey Spitfire 20-mile race is a winner. Beginning and ending at Dunsfold aerodrome – the Top Gear Race Track from the days before Jezza Clarkson went bonkers – the race is small, friendly and has a smashing medal. We love it.

EVE Wrestling: Let’s Make History
20 March, 15.00, £15
Crea8 Events Centre, Shoreditch
Until 1987, women’s wrestling was banned in London. To celebrate all the women who battled to get the ban lifted, the first ever all-female pro wrestling show in the capital will take place during Women’s History Month. Go along and boo the baddies, cheer for the goodies and watch awseome displays of acrobatics and fighting.
Cranleigh 15/21 mile race
20 March, £12-£14
If the Surrey Spitfire 20 is too close for a long run before Spring marathons, the week after you’ve got 15 and 21-mile races in Cranleigh, Surrey. Another beaut of a local race (the kind where you can tuck into homemade cakes in a village hall when you finish) entries close on 12 March and cost the princely sum of £12-£14 payable by bank transfer or cheque. Our top tip, run near the centre of the road where you can, the camber can be a bit of a killer.
Jack The Ripper Run
31 March, from 18.00, £15
Near Liverpool Street
We’ve not been along to a Secret London Runs event before but this sounds rather splendid. It’s 1888 and five women have been murdered by the Ripper. Working together in teams of up to four, runners race against the clock to solve the crimes, interviewing suspects, visiting the scenes of gruesome acts and trying to catch the dastardly Jack. Enter as a group or buy a social ticket and be put into a team with other runners.
