All my advent calendars were zero calorie growing up as my mum wouldn’t let me have chocolate ones 🙁 However this zero calorie advent calendar is an online affair with different healthy treats released each day including free workouts, fitness offers, recipes and more. The guys behind it are also organising some free to attend events including a Wireless Fitness class. Kind of like silent disco, you wear headphones to hear the instructor and the music as you work through a variety of exercises outdoors. Not too many details have been released but it’s free and it includes exercise so we’re going to love it right? Email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place.

There’s then an express cardio kick from personal trainer (and our mate) Jane Anderson before a nice relaxing yin practice to end with followed by some festive brunch. Victor’s Lab in Peckham is a great space – we went along to the last free Catalyst class there and have to say, Daniela is a fantastic teacher too, fab session. To book your place and reserve a mat, bolster, blanket and lavender eye pillow (this sounds better by the minute) email miranda.menzies@catalyst-a

Festive Secret Yoga Club
14 December, 19.00-22.00, £38

21 December, 10.30-11.30
lululemon athletica, Covent garden
Fusing boxing exercises and yoga does seem to kind of go against the peacefulness of practice but we’ve tried this and it actually reminds us a bit of a (much harder) form of tai chi. Teacher and founder Kajza originally designed BoxingYoga to give fighters a competitive edge but the workout is now available in gyms and yoga studios too, go along and see what you think. As with all free lululemon classes it’s first come, first mat.
