adidas has teamed up with double Olympic champion Laura Trott to launch its new adistar SS15 cycling range. This heritage-inspired monochrome collection will make even the most lycra averse cyclist want to don full kit.
The range can be found on the adidas website and includes short and long-sleeved jerseys, shorts, jacket, gloves and a body suit. It comes with a load of swanky new features. Jerseys and jackets use ‘Dragzero’ fabric which has been tried and tested in a wind tunnel, shorts have jetfighter inspired ‘aero-hems’ and the kit uses new compression fabric making for super-streamlined riding.
Our verdict? We love it. It’s sleek and stylish. Monochrome is our default colour-way of choice. The three stripe heritage makes an appearance but it’s not overwhelming. Plus, for the more performance focused cyclists among you, the technical design promises to makes you super-speedy.
We’re big fans of the adidas cycling collection after testing it out during the Deloitte Ride Across Britain last year so can’t wait to test out all the tech upgrades to the new collection.
The full range can be found on the adidas website. Prices range from £27 for the gloves to £100 for the bodysuit.
