Gear of the Week:
Adidas Terrex Boost

We’re a grubby pair and love a bit of the outdoors so when adidas invited us to the re-launch of their terrex range we got a little bit excited.

The re-launched terrex range promises to be the perfect kit for every outdoor athlete – whatever your adventure of choice. We love hitting the trails so we tried and tested the new terrex Boost.

The terrex Boost is a lightweight mountain running shoe featuring the Boost sole (basically lots of little bouncy balls all squished together).

Boost promises maximum energy return for a smooth fast shoe and the Continental rubber outsole promises to help you stick to the mountains – even on the wettest ground at your highest speeds. Boosts have been top of our list for long distance road running favourites for a while so we’ve been waiting for it to make an appearance in their trail running range. These didn’t disappoint. They look pretty cool, they get points for comfort and our favourite bit is the drawstring laces – because no one likes having to tie their mud-clad laces mid-race.

We’ve got the black and purple but they also come in a clay and orange colour-way. Only downfall is that they come in at a pricey £120. Check them out here.
