Fitness Freak Rave is back!

Put on your raving shoes, Fitness Freak Pop-Up Rave is back… and we had so much fun last time we’re going again. Come join!

If you live in London, you can’t have helped but notice, there’s a bit of a rave revolution going on at the moment. Whether it’s spinning or gymming, studios across the capital are adding a touch of neon and thumping bass to their classes. And the event that started this 90s obsession? The Fitness Freak pop-up rave that’s what.

An hour-long, high-energy fitness class with cheesy 90s rave tunes, face paint, glow sticks, neon lycra and a live DJ… the only E in this rave is for endorphins. Best enjoyed with a group of mates, the aerobic dance moves are such a sweaty laugh (yes ‘big fish, little fish’ is in there) that you don’t even notice what a tough cardio workout you’re getting. Although there’s no getting away from the toning exercises, no one can miss that tough squat set. Ow.

The first rave was held back in June and we recruited a group of mates to come along, donned our finest collection of neon (we love any excuse for a bit of fancy dress), grabbed some glow sticks and danced like lunatics. The music was aces and Shara, (Fitness Freak founder) the instructor, didn’t disappoint. Fitness lovers, party goers and cool hunters this is one that shouldn’t be missed.

Rave is back on the 17 and 18 of September in the Camden Centre (opposite King’s Cross Tube) with a session at 6.30pm and 8pm each day (we’re booked in for 8pm on the 17th). Last time it was a sell out so get in there quick!
